I think every weekend Between 1990 and 93 me and my mates must of attended some form of Scooter event, whether or not anyone took a camera is very doubtful, most of my pics are of a lager fueled nature, the few Scooter pics can be found on the other page..
The following photos were taken at a windswept Blackpool in 1990, the everlasting memory of this run was a mix up with the B&B booking, as we were booked in as a family, oh how we laughed as the Tadcaster Stax snuggled into their childrens bunk beds that weekend. ''PRICELESS''
Next up was Easter at Skegness, I know they did'nt want Scooters back after the trouble in 1984 but I did'nt expect to be actually prevented from entering the town, and we were forced into a Speedway circuit for the Friday night before finally entering the town on the Saturday dinnertime, so not many pics from sunny Skeggy that year.
A couple of pics from York certainly down on numbers to the big gatherings you get nowadays.
A few pics from the king of all the rallies, the L.P.S Rally at Devon.
just a couple of pics of good old Margate, will probably find some more later.
Fort William in Scotland, 1990 World Cup fever, glorious weather, ice buckets, jumpers as goalposts.....
Whitley Bay, always good for a drinking session, Some good times at this Rally, always remember BBC2 turning up and filming all the lads for a documentry on the Fred Perry polo shirt, they also went to Wimbledon tennis week and it was only the Scooterboys who knew who Fred Perry was. yuppies eh.
Brighton, home of the Mods, for myself joining the Scooter Scene through the Quadrophenia/79 mod revival this rally was a must attend, set off thuursday night with the Tad Stax in search of a mythical Northern Soul night somewhere down the M1, never found it, so spent the night at Newport Pagnell and set off again to visit Soho, we never found that either, arrived in Brighton friday afternoon fully expecting a hard time from Sussex Police or at least some excitement with some Bikers but no, just a jaunt round the pubs, the only Biker we saw was 6 foot thirteen tall and must of been related to Grizzly Adams,so he got avoided, as for the boys in blue they just set up a breathalizer on the gate on Sunday morning so we could'nt set off home till we sobered up, cunning eh.
OH, if your wondering about the bottom pic, it's the Doncaster Hunters, but I never told you that...
A few pics from the L.C.G.B Rally to Ingleton, no Scooter pics there as the fog was so thick that one of the Donny Hunters smashed their engine casing when the road dissapeared, Brrr cold one that,Consolation prize though, it could be the earliest picture I have of a young JP from York.
The following photos were taken in 1990/91, at a variety of Rallies, hope you can remember where half of them were taken, because the state I was in at some of the Rallies my Scooter must of been on autopilot just to get me home.
The below photos were taken at L.C.G.B events in Holland, chorley and Blackburn, oh and the reformed Lambrettas concert in Mansfield, poison ivy yeah yeah...mind you 1 might be in Scarborough?
I'd forgotten half of these Rallies, below should be Yarmouth, Llandudno, Whitley Bay Morecambe and Bridlington, I think....
Not strictly Scooter run photos, 1 from Tenerife and the other on a night out in Mansfield, but ''Eli'' in them trunks just makes everybody laugh.
