Paul Weller, The first time i saw Paul Weller in concert was in 1981 he was then the frontman of the legendry group THE JAM, from then on I followed the Modfather through his STYLE COUNCIL days the PAUL WELLER MOVEMENT and then into his solo career, the last time i went to see him in concert was in 1993 in Manchester the night was only memorable by the fact i got pulled up by the York traffic Police on the way home they then proceeded to give my Lambretta GP200 a full inspection before i was allowed to carry on my journey, just what you want when your due in at work 4 hours later.
Anyhow back to the story, 16 years pass and Paul Weller is playing ten miles away from our house and i have a ticket, i even tried to sell it before the concert but to no avail, so back onto the Scooter and into the Concert at Dalby forest, and what have i been missing, 16 years of pure class,
So welcome back Paul Weller, tootle scarf and all, and once again INTO TOMMOROW......
