2007, Exactly 60 years since the Italians started building Lambretta Motor scooters you still find thousands of people snapping them up like hotcakes, why these tempramental, boneshaking machine's are still so loved is anyone's guess, but they are and yours truly had just rebuilt another one for the years to come, all it needed now was a test run, so off we went over the pennines in gale force winds to good old Manchester, and if this maiden voyage does'nt kill the old Lambretta, then nothing will.
Manchester, some would say the city is famous for it's music scene, others for it's football teams, me i would say it's Scooter Scene and long heretige of Scooter Clubs and events, the most famous of all being Ginger's egg run to the city's Children's Hospital, nice one Ginger, now on with the pic's.
Just a quick sunny ride down the road here to Helmsley, and a few tidy Scoots to photo, oh those Pennine sidewinds, can still remember them now,
Dare I say it, yup, Knaresborough to York, and yes my cold old bones....
