Good Friday, Easter Bank Holiday, and my Daughter becomes a third Generation Scooterist, my Dad and his Brother had been involved with the Scarborough Lambretta Club in the late 50s to mid 60s it was my turn in the early 80s and now it was my Daughter riding pillion to Scarborough, really should of kept the family tradition but the Vespa had a backrest and my Daughter reckons the Lambretta rattles too much, so Good Friday we travelled by Piaggio Power.
Easter Saturday, the Lambretta is wheeled out for the short journey to Scarborough, it's paint gleaming in the sunlight, the motor kicks into life and the heavens open, and stayed open for the rest of the day, so here we go some rainy day pics from the East Coast..
Couldn't make it back on the Sunday due to Family commitments, but as a consolation my mate pulled over on the way home Saturday, only to find that we were sharing the same forecourt as well known Scooter enthusiast, Primal Scream and ex Stone Roses Guitarist ''MANI'',
