Full Circle, at Scarborough Easter 1982 i rode pillion on a 1970 ''H'' Registered GP200, the seafront was totally packed out with Scooters, at this time i could never of envisaged that a quarter of a century later i would be riding my own 1970 ''H'' Registered GP200 with my wife as pillion around Scarborough Seafront on Easter Weekend, and even more miraculous that the Seafront would still be packed out with Scooters,
Some lovely Scoots on display at the West Yorkshire runs to Yeadon and Otley, favourite of the day for me was this Vespa Rally, i'd seen the Scooter riding around the Seafront at Easter but was unable to get a photo of it, but good things come to those who wait, so here it is in all it's finery on Yeadon high street.
Just a handful of pics from the Y.S.A coast to coast rally, from Blackpool to Whitby, i was at a Wedding the very same day so only saw a few Scooters in Whitby, so if you wondered why the guy on the Bronze GP was heading out of Whitby whilst hundreds of Scooters were heading into the town, now you know why...
An excellent day out this one, the run from Northallerton to erm Northallerton, joking aside the run left Northallerton and took us on a ride out around the local countryside and was well marshalled by the Woolybacks Scooter club, definately another event to attend in 2009,
Downpoint of the day for anyone following my Lambretta was the fact that my engine oil seals totally gave up the ghost and left everyone in a cloud of pollution at every slight incline...
